Foster Family Agency Services

Foster Family Agency Services

Creative Alternatives Foster Family Agency’s mission is to deliever comprehensive therapeutic services in a nurturing environment to youth and young adults. Our view is that once a child’s chaotic beginning has been stabilized, positive changes and healthy development can occur.  When children are placed with our agency for the purpose of reunification, adoption or emancipation, we gear treatment plans toward the specific needs of the child.  Our goal is to place all children in our care into home environments that encourage and allow them to develop healthy, positive social attachments.

Creative Alternatives Foster Family Agency has offered over 40 years of quality care for thousands of children.  Through the years, in all our experience with every imaginable behavior, our goal for every child has always remained to improve the quality of their lives and to keep them the focus of our existence.  Creative Alternatives’ multi-dimensional program allows for all-around care, with the ultimate goal of reunification, adoption or emancipation.

Foster Family Agency Program
Creative Alternatives is licensed by the State Department of Social Services to operate a Foster Family Agency.  Through the Foster Family Agency families are recruited, trained and certified as exclusive-use homes for the corporation.  This enables Creative Alternatives to continue care for children who have successfully completed their stay in the group home program, but who are unable for one reason or another to return to their natural homes. Clients acceptable for this program must be able to integrate into a family setting and not present a threat to the community.  They can be placed with a certified family for long-term care or for adoption.  Creative Alternatives also accepts appropriate children for direct placement in certified homes.

The goal of this program is to help children develop into successfully functioning adults, capable of stable personal relationships and competent family living skills.
