The Grace Bishop Memorial Fund was established in 1998 in memory of Grace Bishop, who was one of the original founding members of Creative Alternatives Board of Directors.

Scholarships are awarded to qualifying candidates from the Creative Alternatives Group Home Program, Foster Family Program, Reyn Franca School or Joseph Novack Academy.

A committee of program directors and social workers reviews applications submitted by candidates to determine the scholarships to be awarded.  Interviews are held in April and scholarships awarded at a special ceremony in May.

To qualify:

1.Candidate must have been in the program for at least a school year.

2.Candidate must be exiting on good terms.

3.The candidate will be emancipating from the program.
